Emmy Rossum arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport last Sunday (March 16) with a grin on her face caused by her gratefulness for the flight crew. While it would be normal to not acknowledge the aircraft crew, the 'Shameless' actress did otherwise.

"Shout out to our lovely #AmericanAirlines captain who made a point of coming into the cabin to introduce himself and assure us a safe flight," wrote the 27-year-old actress on her Twitter page.

She likewise did not fail to remember the missing Malaysia Airlines flight:  "Thank you to the kind flight staff who understand that tensions are running higher than usual when it comes to air travel. Pray for #MH370."

The 'Phantom of the Opera' actress is pertaining to the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 which vanished more than a week ago on its way to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur. The aircraft is carrying 239 passengers and cabin employees. Until now, the plane has not been located yet although 25 countries have already joined the search efforts.
