Super Junior has been teasing fans recently with the news about their new song 'Swing.' But this is just the newest in a long line of everything Super Junior-M has done.

2008

Super Junior-M (Mandarin) debuted with the album 'Me' on April 8, as a subgroup of Super Junior. Super Junior member Han Geng (known also as Hankyung) was announced to be the leader with Siwon, Donghae, Kyuhyun, and Ryeowook. Henry Lau and Zhou Mi were also announced to be members, but their addition to Super Junior-M caused fans to get upset and protest; SM Entertainment announced that Henry and Zhou Mi would never become official Super Junior members. There is still a dispute about this going on nowadays.

The group's first song was 'U', a remake of Super Junior's Korean version with a different musical arrangement. Super Junior-M became extremely popular in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

2009

The group made a comeback in September with 'Super Girl,' which won several awards.

In December, amidst promotions for 'Super Girl' Han Geng began a lawsuit against SM Entertainment and filed for contract termination. The other members returned to Korea, but Han Geng stayed in China.

2010

Super Junior-M was generally inactive during this year, due to the dispute between Han Geng and SM Entertainment. Even so, Super Junior-M continued to be nominated for and win awards in Taiwan and China.

2011 

In February, Super Junior-M added another two Super Junior members, Eunhyuk and Sungmin, and released 'Perfection.' The album dominated charts in Taiwan, and the addition of the new members was met with general approval. 

In September, SM Entertainment and Han Geng came to a mutual agreement about the contract issue and closed the legal case. Since then he has had a successful solo career in China.

2012

Super Junior-M didn't release any new official albums during 2012. However, the group performed at Super Junior's Super Show 4, and members of the group pursued their own activities.

Siwon and Donghae starred in the Chinese drama based on the manga Skip Beat , which Super Junior- M released 'S.O.L.O' for. Zhou Mi appeared the drama When Love Walked In  alongside f(x)'s Victoria, while Henry played a character in the film Final Recipe.

2013

In Early January, Super Junior-M released 'Break Down.' Henry worked as a producer and composer while Zhou Mi wrote some of the songs, as he had done for previous Super Junior-M albums.

'Break Down' appeared on charts all over the world, including the Billboard World Albums chart.

 2014

Super Junior-M is making a comeback with 'Swing' on March 21^st, and has released a teaser and medley highlight so far.
