Wonder Girls' Sun Leaves As Missionary to Haiti - What Happens To WG Now?

Can Wonder Girls continue despite their leader Sun leaving the group indefinitely?

JYP Entertainment released information on the 19th that Sunye is leaving with her husband to be missionaries in Haiti. The other three members will focus on their solo careers. JYP made it a point to say that this does not mean that they are disbanding Wonder Girls and that the members of Wonder Girls will continue their singing careers in the near future.

So what will the other three members do?

Yenny will be focusing on her new career as a producer. She definitely has the talent - she wrote the songs "Saying I Love You", "G.N.O", and "Girl Friend" on Wonder Girls' previous albums. She also wrote the song "If That Was You" for Sunmi's newest album, "Full Moon".

Yubin will continue her music career while also pursing an acting career. Her TV debut was on OCN for the drama "The Virus" next to actor Um Ki Joon. She also appears as the featured rapper in Sunmi's album on the track "Who Am I".

Hyelim, who was the last member to join Wonder Girls, will continue her appearance as an English teacher on EBS Radio's "Wonder K-Pop". She has expressed interest in furthering her music career as well.

Sunye got married in January of 2013 to Korean-Canadian missionary husband and gave birth to a daughter the following October. She has lived in Canada since but has recently decided with her husband to go as a missionary to Haiti for five years.
