Malaysia Airlines Found In Maldives? Flight MH370 Hijacked Theory Out As Locals Report Sighting Of Aircraft Before Its Disappearance

The missing Malaysia Airlines might soon be found in Maldives after residents reported possible sighting of the aircraft prior to its supposed time of disappearance. Residents allegedly spotted a "low-flying jumbo jet" the morning Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 vanished from civilian radar.

According to locals, they saw a large aircraft with red stripes which Malaysia Airlines planes are known for. As the plane flew over Maldives' remote island Kuda Huvadhoo, residents reportedly heard a loud noise at about 6 in the morning.

"I've never seen a jet flying so low over our island before. We've seen seaplanes, but I'm sure that this was not one of those. I could even make out the doors on the plane clearly. It's not just me either, several other residents have reported seeing the exact same thing. Some people got out of their houses to see what was causing the tremendous noise too," claimed the eyewitness.

The recent sighting of the missing Malaysia Airlines in Maldives appears to be consistent with the latest theory proposed by a veteran pilot named Chris Goodfellow. According to him, Flight MH370 was probably aiming for an emergency landing because of a fire. For him, the plane's transponders have been destroyed by the fire on board.

Since its disappearance, 25 countries have already joined several search efforts. According to Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) representative John Young, the search for the aircraft is likely to take weeks comparing the situation to "a needle in a haystack."
