Paul Walker Death Causing Family Rift? Meadow Walker’s $25 Million Inheritance Threatened By Biological Mother’s ‘Drinking Problem’?

Paul Walker's death not only left his family heartbroken but it could likewise spark a rift among the members. Recently, the 'Fast and Furious' actor's grandmother, Cheryl Ann Walker, filed a petition to be Meadow Walker's legal guardian.

Walker's daughter is the sole beneficiary of the 'Hours' actor's will which amounts to nearly $25 million.  His father, Paul Walker III, was likewise named in the will as the executor of the actor's estate. The late actor also included that should anything happen, his grandmother should officially take over as Meadow's legal guardian. In Cheryl's petition, she claims to be  a "loving and responsible" person who was able to raise four upright children.

However, the guardianship clause doesn't appear to be acceptable for Walker's ex-girlfriend and Meadow's biological mother, Rebecca Soteros. Cheryl wants to expedite the court decision because according to her, "the mother has a drinking problem."

Since Meadow is only 15 years old, the Walker family believes it is necessary for the teenager to be legally secured.

Meanwhile, the late actor's brother, Cody, seems unaffected with the impending family rift because he is doing his best to continue his sibling's legacy. As the newly appointed head of the actor's charitable organization, Reach Out Worldwide, Cody is more than determined to continue what his brother fought for.

"As Paul would say, 'When you put good will out there, it's amazing what can be accomplished.' We can all make a difference in this world and I am honored to join the ROWW team in fulfilling my brother's legacy and ensure that the good my brother did lives on," he said in a speech.

Who do you think should be granted the guardianship?
