The age of K-Pop concerts in the US is upon us and starting things out is six-member boy band Teen Top.

The first group to host a concert though the new crowdsourcing network Krowdpop, Teen Top will show fans in New York City what the power of the internet can do for live music.

The unprecedented performance marks the first time a Korean pop group has utilized crowdsourcing to put on an international show.

At the forefront of this exciting new phase of the Hallyu Wave, Teen Top is set to perform at New York City's Best Buy Theater in Times Square on Sunday, March 23 at 7pm EST to kick start their Teen Top World Tour 'High Kick' USA before moving on to other cities across North America.

The Krowdpop platform was able to successfully fund additional show in Los Angeles, San Jose, and Toronto where consumer demand was high. Another show, that was initially scheduled in Dallas, unfortunately did not meet the funding deadline and had to be cancelled.

Teen Top is featured as Mnet America's Headliner of the Month and cameras will be following the guys around the States as part of Go! Teen Top, a special behind the scenes look at their High Kick US tour.

Teen Top made their debut in 2010 under the agency TOP Media which was founded by first-generation K-Pop idol Andy Lee of Korea's longest-running boy band Shinhwa.

Since then, the group has released four EPs and one full-length studio album and have won a multitude of awards including Rookie of the Year at the 2011 Republic of Korea Entertainment Arts Awards and last year's Golden Disk Award for Single Album of the Year.

The six members, aged 18 to 21, toured Europe last February making stops in Germany, England, France, and Spain and have plans to continue across the EU again after the US leg of their current High Kick tour with concerts planned in Russia, Hungary, and France.
