Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's split not happen at all as the rumor mill has started to roll after the "Blurred Lines" singer revealed that they are happy about their state of marriage.

The interview occurred during the Express store grand opening in Times Square and Robin Thicke told E! News that he and the "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" actress are "both very happy."

The singer also said that he couldn't help but be honest about what he was feeling during his split from wife Paula Patton. The couple announced their split apparently over Robin Thicke's cheating ways.

"I wasn't sharing anything except what I was going through at that very second. So for me, as an entertainer and a songwriter, it's important for the music to be honest," he said.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's marriage was in shambles after he was caught with his hand inside the cookie jar, or in that instance, just outside the short skirt of a girl and feeling out her bum.

In September last year, Lana Scolaro in an interview with Life & Style magazine claimed that Robin Thicke cheated on his wife. A scandalous photo of the singer grabbing the bum of Scolaro went viral in various social media sites.

But Scolaro alleged that they also "made out" while Paula Patton was only a few steps away.

However, all is not lost despite Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's split as the singer has been trying to win her back.

TMZ also reported that Robin Thicke and Paula Patton's split might not push through as their marriage could be saved considering Paula Patton still wants her high school sweetheart back. In fact, the actress has not hired a divorce lawyer yet to make official her split with the singer.
