Mnet 'Superstar K6' Holds Global Auditions In Japan And Receives Huge Response

Mnet "Superstar K6" held auditions in Japan for the first time in 3 years.

For these global auditions, it was revealed that 80% of the contestants were from Japan, showing just how popular the show was.

On April 2, the "Superstar K6" auditions was held as part of one of the convention programs for the Mnet "M! Countdown No. 1 Artist of Spring 2014'.

Hundreds of contestants attended the auditions and showed the immense popularity of the show.

Fans from many different parts of Japan came to audition as well.

Most of the contestants for the show sang songs by 2NE1, showing the popularity of K-Pop in Japan.

On the other hand, auditions for the show will continue to the U.S., Canada, Philippines and more.
