Malaysia Airlines Found Already? Battery Life Of Flight MH370 Blackbox To Run Out This Weekend, What’s Next For The ‘Most Difficult Search In Human History’?

Is the missing Malaysia Airlines found already? Such is the question that has been haunting the world for the past few weeks. While debris have been reportedly spotted in the Indian Ocean, it has been proven that they do not belong to the missing Malaysia Flight 370 which mysteriously vanished last March 8 along with its 239 passengers.

What makes it more challenging is that the missing aircraft's black box might run our of battery power this Sunday. Once it runs out of power, it will be more difficult for authorities to specify the plane's location.

"After the battery life expires, you move on to a different phase of the investigation, which will use underwater radar and scanning capabilities," according to Federal Aviation Administration safety consultant Michael Daniel.

This means that the Indian Ocean floor will be scanned for debris using sonar and radar. Again, this will require much effort for the Indian Ocean's bed is filled with cliffs and rocks that might be concealing the wreckage.

Australian prime minister Tony Abbott previously deemed the search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 as "the most difficult search" in the aviation history.

"I can assure you that the best brains in the world are working on this. As far as Australia is concerned, we are throwing everything we have at it," he said in a press conference.

The prime minister likewise asked the world to be patient and be united.
