K-Pop Destinations: In Budapest With Lee Jong Suk

Budapest is not the place you immediately consider when you think about visiting a K-Drama set. But those lucky enough to live in the Hungarian city or who plan to visit soon might have a chance to watch Lee Jong Suk film scenes for his next drama "Dr. Stranger." Fans have reported seeing a very friendly Lee Jong Suk waving and smiling at them as he filmed some of the drama's initial scenes in Budapest.

Some of the drama's recent scenes were filmed on the cobblestone streets before the Magayar Nemzeti Galleria, also known as the Hungarian National Gallery, in Budapest. Besides serving as the backdrop for Lee Jong Suk's motorcycle ride with Jin Se Yeon, the museum offers the largest public collection of fine arts in Hungary. The museum is housed in the former Royal Palace of Buda, Buildings A, B, C, D, H-1014 Budapest,
Szent György tér 2. For more information, call +36 20 4397 325

Or you can visit the museum's site at https://www.mng.hu/en/hng.
