Seeing Double: The Twins Of K-Pop

What is better than one good-looking K-Pop idol? Two, of course!

You might be surprised to hear that some of K-Pop's brightest young stars are actually twins - meaning two times the eye candy, two times the talent, and two times the fun for their fans.

Perhaps two of the most recognizable twins in K-Pop make up Woollim Entertainment's delicious duo, Tasty.

Despite having been born and raised in China, twin brothers Daeryong and Soryong always aspired to be K-Pop idols. After years of training with JYP Entertainment, including a three-year stint in the US where they had the chance to work with American stars like Beyonce and Ne-yo, the pair eventually left the agency to pursue their dream elsewhere.

In 2012 Tasty debuted as a duo with the single album Spectrum and fans have been going wild for the handsome brothers ever since.

Other twins have also found industry success alongside their look-alike siblings.

There might be confusion about the number of members in boy band Boyfriend. The young six-member idol group counts among their ranks twin brothers Young Min and Kwang Min.

The 18-year-old singers started out in the business as child actors and appeared in well over 300 commercials before switching to music. Like Tasty, the twins were also trained by JYP Entertainment, but eventually left the agency for Starship Entertainment and debuted with Boyfriend in 2011.

Cute and bubbly girl group Crayon Pop boasts a set of twins as well. Sisters ChoA and Way (whose real names are Heo Minjin and Heo Minseon respectively) are part of the concept group that 'jumped' their way into the hearts of fans around the world this past summer with the hit single "Bar Bar Bar."

ChoA was a member of the original set up, then called Hurricane Pop, but when member Mari left before promotions for the group started, Way was added to maintain a quintet and Crayon Pop was born.

K-Pop twins are nothing if not talented. Outside of directly working together, a few other pairs are not members of the same groups, but are making their own way through the industry.

JYJ member Junsu has over a decade of experience under his belt as a pop star and musical actor. His twin, Junho, is a bit newer to the music industry having debuted in 2010 after an injury forced him to give up his original career as a baseball player.

The two can often be seen supporting one another's projects and also play for the same celebrity charity soccer team FC MEN, of which Junsu is the captain.

Balladeer Huh Gak made a name for himself as the winner of "Superstar K2", but did you know his twin brother Huh Gong also appeared on an audition program? Even though he didn't win, Huh Gong's career was jump-started when he was a contestant on "The Voice Korea". The two have been longtime collaborators, and have worked together on several projects in the past several years.

Core Contents Media was once home to another set of idol twins. Former T-Ara member Hwayoung and Hyoyoung of 5dolls have always expressed their close relationship with one another to the public. The sisters also appeared alongside each other Speed's "Lovey-Dovey-Plus" music video donned in matching makeup and outfits.

After leaving her group, Hwayoung signed with Wellmade StarM and is hard at work establishing her solo career, undoubtedly with much support from her sister.
