15& is a duo female group that consists of Park Jimin and Baek Yerin, both of whom are sixteen years old. Park is the main vocalist and rapper. Baek, on the other hand, can dance, rap, and is a primary vocalist as well. The pair signed a contract with agency JYP Entertainment in 2012 and 15& is definitely a group that you should not ignore.

Their Songs and Chart Rankings

The girls has had a total of three singles; "I Dream", "Somebody", and "Can't Hide It." "I Dream" was their debut song released on October 5, 2012. "Somebody" on April 17, 2013 and "Can't Hide It" last Sunday (April 13, 2014).

Fans are loving the fresh concepts that Park and Baek are bringing as proven by their previous singles being ranked in the top ten on multiple Korean music charts.

While the girls are still young, age does not have a factor when true talent is seen in the K-Pop industry. For "I Dream," the single ranked number six on the Gaon Chart and number eleven for the Korean Billboard Top 100. "Somebody" ranked number three on the Gaon Chart and number ten for the Korean Billboard Top 100. "Can't Hide It" was recently released, though already, ranks number one on seven music charts which are Bugs, Mnet, Olleh Music, Soribada, Naver Music, Daum Music, and Genie.

The Girls Are Grown Up

When you watch the music video, you are going to notice that even though they are sixteen years old, both Park and Baek looks mature for their age. Including them looking mature, so is the music video because the message is about one-sided love. "Can't Hide It" was composed by the girls to show their talent. Also, Park and Baek wanted their new single to have an R&B beat to it. No more sweet and cute voices compared from their previous songs, Park and Baek are now showing their mature voices with this new single. The girls want to show their fans that they are mature on camera and cute off camera.

How Park and Baek Started

Park Jimin got noticed on 2012 when she won first place on the show, "Survival K-Pop Star." When she won, all three agencies (JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and YG Entertainment) noticed her talent. In the end, Park chose to sign with JYP Entertainment on May 21, 2012.

"R&B genius" Baek Yerin got noticed when she was ten years old by appearing on the show, "Star King." During the JYP auditioning on 2008, Baek performed Beyonce's single, "Listen." There, the judges noticed that she can dance and rap by being selected. For more than four years, Baek went through the rigorous training only then to meet Park Jimin; which they then decided to work together and become 15&.

What The Two Are Up to Now

With the return of the girls, Park and Baek just sang their single, "Can't Hide It" on April 13th. They performed a special stage for "K-Pop Star 3." On that night, Park and Baek captivated the audience with their amazing voices.

Though Park and Baek are aged sixteen, the two are known idols. With their current single, fans continue to love the fresh concept that they bring to the K-Pop world. JYP Entertainment are happy to have such great talent; this two will continue to mature and represent the agency in the coming years. Having the "&" icon which signifies that the two will have success in the future, is looking bright for Park Jimin and Baek Yerin.
