JYJ member Jaejoong has been gaining an incredible amount of popularity through his role in the drama 'Time Slip Dr. Jin,’ which is Jaejoong's first attempt at a historical drama. It has been reported that Jaejoong is favored by everyone behind the scenes.

Jaejoong plays the character Kim Kyung Tak, a police officer in the police bureau of the Chosun Dynasty of Korea and also the son of Kim Byung Hee (Kim Eung Soo). Kim Kyung Tak is famous for his gifted talents in martial arts but receives hatred and criticism from the aristocrats for the mere reason of being Kim Byung Hee's son. During the episode that was aired on June 3, Kim Kyung Tak gets kicked around by Kim Dae Gyun (Kim Myung Soo) for the same reason.

However, reality is 180 degrees different from how Jaejoong's character is treated in the drama. Kim Eung Soo, who plays the father of Jaejoong refers to Jaejoong as 'our son' and 'little son' and compliments him endlessly. Also, after the kicking scene involving Jaejoong and Kim Myung Soo, Myung Soo ran over to Jaejoong to hug him while saying, 'What are we going to do, our Jaejoong is hurt.' Clearly, Jaejoong is adored by the older actors, not to mention his devoted fans.

Also, a representative from the entertainment group of Jaejoong stated, 'I think the actors from the drama formed a strong bond with each other already. They have been spending countless hours together almost every day so I think they all have become very close. The drama will be very successful because the actors all work so well with each other.'

Meanwhile, 'Time Slip Dr. Jin' received 14.4% viewing rate for the episode that aired on June 3 and became a more threatening rival against the drama 'A Gentleman's Dignity.’
