K-Pop Covers: Arden Cho Of MTV's 'Teen Wolf' Performs Top-Notch Version Of BEAST's 'Beautiful Night' [VIDEO]

Arden Cho's name might elude you if you're not a fan of MTV's Teen Wolf, but the LA-based star is also a very popular YouTube personality.

Cho, who is Korean-American, shared a version of her covering the BEAST song, "Beautiful Night" on the video sharing website, back in 2012.

Now that "Teen Wolf" is on a summer hiatus, I thought it would be the perfect time to revisit her version of "Beautiful Night.'

The original BEAST music video received over 22 million views. It's a fun and extremely catchy song that numerous artists have covered. Did we really need one more person to do the same?

The answer is yes. Yes, we did.

Cho's take on, "Beautiful Night" gives us a sweeter and slightly less produced version of the track. It's not as upbeat, but it's not too mellow either.

Her careful and wholesome vocals are joined by a simple piano arrangement. Once Cho's vocals kick in, she really does do the song justice. I was surprised at how much I liked her version, as a huge fan of BEAST.

I'm not going to sit here and claim one cover is better than the other. But Cho offers a more stripped-down version of "Beautiful Night," one that is definitely worth listening to.

And while you might not find yourself pumping your fist during Cho's version, you can definitely relax and nod your head to it.

Musicians often take to their guitars when covering their favorite songs, which doesn't always work out so well. Using somber piano in her cover of "Beautiful Night," Cho takes a very danceable number and turns it into someting quite different, but equally exciting.
