News of idol fans sending relief goods to Jindo to support victims and rescue workers captured attention.

Fans of B.A.P, EXO, INFINITE, and other idol groups have been sending relief goods under their celebrity's name, carrying messages of hope such as "We wish we could send you some coffee", "We know it's not much, but we hope it helps".

Relief packages have been known to contain hot packs, instant coffee mixes, paper cups, feminine products, and vitamins.

Staff stated: "The maturity shown by fans are quite inspirational. The fans and their stars are growing together."

Because of the drop in temperature at nighttime, many goods to thaw cold hands and bodies have been delivered.

Rescue missions to save survivors on board Sewol are currently taking place in Jindo.
