Female duo 15& is now really looking at the light. It's already been 3 years since their debut, and they've so far released 2 digital singles while gathering their efforts to deliver the 'big one.'

15& released their digital single "Can't Hide It" on the 13th and made a comeback after a year's break. They swept the charts with this song, and the duo is currently enjoying their time on stage, like a fish released back in the water.

As soon as 15& released "Can't Hide It", they took the number 1 rank across music charts, kicking Akdong Musician off the spot on MelOn, Soribada, and Mnet music. Even now they're ranked in the top 5 and continue gaining popularity.

The duo first unveiled their new song on the April 13th broadcast of "K-Pop Star 3". It was nice to see this former "K-Pop Star" contestant show the newer singers how far she's come as a more experienced singer who has already debuted. Park Ji Min and Park Ye Rin celebrated their comeback stage, and shot to the top of the real time music charts.

Now that they're back, 15& has a more polished look. Their teamwork and harmony have increased noticeably in skill. The unpolished performance at their debut left 2% lacking, but that's been rectified. While before they seemed like young little girls, they've emerged as women in their comeback.

Park Jin Young said, "Finally I can see Ye Rin's strengths in Ji Min, and Ji Min's strengths in Ye Rin. You two sang really well. I'm proud of you."

Their easy to listen to harmony showcased the duo's soulful vocals. Even though this is their first attempt at an R&B song, it's being met with a positive response. Their previous songs "I Dream" and "Somebody" were pop songs, and their new R&B genre song highlights the girls' charms that have never been shown before.

Park Jin Young created the melody to "Can't Hide It", and lyrics were added so that the girls could show off their soulful R&B voices. Park Jin Young represented the innocent love during puberty quite accurately.

And the response was good. The public approved of the girls challenging themselves to new things. Instead of a bouncy youthful beat, they sang a song that's easy to follow and that most could relate to.

The girls have proved that they can take on other genres besides pop, and have taken the first step towards broadening the spectrum of genres.

We also can't forget that these girls are just turning 17 years old. If they've already grown and changed so much, just imagine how much more they have to show the music industry. They've already presented their great talent. As they come into contact with a variety and music, study it, and soak it up like a sponge, 15& will continue to evolve and come out with better songs. It'll be fun to watch them grow and mature into even greater musicians.

Of course improving is a goal they should always have in mind, but it's also important that they challenge themselves to new things. That comes with time. They must practice expressing their emotions and voices through different experiences, and even compare themselves with others to see in which ways they can grow. They have to find their own group's charm and improve on that. We look forward to seeing how the group will evolve and continue making good music.
