The latest pop star to surpass the million mark is Super Junior member Heechul. As of April 24, his official Instagram handle, @kimheenim, passed the benchmark and numbers continue to rise.

In addition to his photos posted through the app, Heechul also likes to entertain his fans through other social media platforms like Twitter.

Because of his lighthearted and laid back personality, Heechul's Instagram is fun and interesting for fans who enjoy the personal communication and frequent updates from the star.

Heechul's rise to the million-followers club has been rapid. The singer started becoming active on social media after finishing his military service in late August 2013.

However, through regular posts and updates for his fans, Heechul has been able to increase his personal online presence and create a dedicated fan base in the process.

The star is currently appearing on We Got Married: Global Edition alongside his fictitious bride, Puff Guo of Taiwanese girl group Dream Girls.
