Jennette McCurdy Leaked Pictures 2014: "Sam and Cat" will not be renewed and reports are speculating that it's because of Jennette McCurdy iCarly star's leaked "naked: selfies. 

According to reports, "Sam and Cat" will go on a hiatus after its season one finale episode on April 26, amid speculation there is heavy drama between Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy. Sam and Cat is one of Nickelodeon's highest rated series.

According to au.ibtimes.com, Jennette McCurdy's half-naked selfies may have been the reason. "Sam and Cat" originally planned to air only 20 episodes, but because of its popularity, producers added another 20 episodes. This took its toll on the cast and crew. Ariana Grande wanted to get busy with her upcoming album. Jennette McCurdy is was getting busy herself. After the lingerie shots, she became the first ever Tamagotchi brand ambassador.

In spite of speculation that racy photos of Sam & Cat star Jennette McCurdy were behind the hiatus of the show, a network rep says that the two are unrelated.
Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande's Sam and Cat is one of Nickelodeon's top shows. It tells the stories of Sam Puckett (played by Jennette McCurdy) and Cat Valentine (played by Ariana Grande), roommates who run a babysitting service. The two characters were taken from previous Nick shows, iCarly and Victorious.
Jennette McCurdy hinted that the naked selfies came from Andre Drummond. 

Jennette McCurdy didn't show up for at The Kids Choice Awards while Ariana Grande, who has been flying high with a solo music career, nabbed the Kids' Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress, while "Sam & Cat" picked up the award for Favorite TV Show. Immediately there rumors that Grande and McCurdy  were involved in a feud.

McCurdy confirmed that she did not attend the awards because Nickelodeon was not treating her well. Andre Drummond even got into a Twitter fight with one of McCurdy's angry iCarly fans.

She took to Twitter to say, "I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me. I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing. I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, McCurdians and Arianators alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first."

Deadline reported that there was discord on the Sam & Cat set. McCurdy and Grande sometimes showedup late. 

SiriusXM radio personality Cristina Palumbo says McCurdy's naked selfies could even help her career, "Every star that has done this has been handsomely rewarded in the long run as far as fame is concerned. It can't hurt her. I don't think anything can hurt you nowadays.

Ken Shaford agreed "It's a good way for a young star to transition into being seen as a more adult star."
