Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' wedding is seemingly taking a toll on their relationship as "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" actor's mom and overall diva, Diana Ross, was reported to be taking over the nuptial details.

Sources told National Enquirer that Diana Ross is now commandeering the Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross wedding plans after she realized that the "Pieces of Me" singer is not leaving her son.

The 70-year-old singing diva has taken control of every nitty-gritty detail and is quickly proving that she's a potential "monster-in-law, the report added.

"She's driving Ashlee batty with her controlling ways and wacky demands," theEnquirer reported.

However, the insiders have no sympathy for Ashlee Simpson and even went so far as suggesting it's her fault because she asked for the help of Diana Ross, not knowing about the consequences of her actions.

For instance, Diana Ross has insisted that the Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross wedding be held at Greenwich, Conn., which is her hometown, which is totally against the wishes of Jessica Simpson's younger sister that the ceremony be in Hawaii or Los Angeles, the insider said.

Second, Ashlee Simpson wanted a vegan cake, an idea Diana Ross quickly shot down. Then the diva wants to sing "Endless Love" as well as a set of her songs during the reception that will reportedly last for half an hour.

Third, Diana Ross also reportedly planned to outshine the bride by wearing an expensive gown on Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' wedding.

"Diana also wants to stand by Evan's side during the ceremony - and she's insisting on singing during the nuptials and at the reception," the publication added.

Finally, no "mom" for Diana Ross after the Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross wedding as the Grammy winner reportedly insisted that her future daughter-in-law call her "Miss Ross."

Both Ashlee Simpson, who has one son with Pete Wentz, and Evan Ross got engaged in Hawaii last year after a whirlwind romance.
