Marlene King Confirms Pretty Little Liars Season 6 As Series 5 Begins 100th Episode: Jenna Cavanaugh Returning To Rosewood!

As "Pretty Little Liars" continues working on season 5, fans can rest assured that season 6 will definitely happen!

According to a recent quote by creator Marlene King to E! Online, "Pretty Little Liars" has enough story to go beyond season 5.

"I don't think the end of season five is the end of our story," King says.

"We know what that ending is already and it definitely sets us up for some more stories to tell in season six, but of course we have to rely on ABC Family for that, but I think they'll think so too."

Of course, King is also hoping this will all lead to the possible "Pretty Little Liars" movie.

"That's always been the ultimate goal, is that it ends its life in one medium and starts another life on film. I love that," adds King.

"Oh we want an in-theaters film! Big, big, big opening weekend, with all those 'Pretty Little Liars' fans are coming out. It would be so much fun. And we'd get to do so much like big stuff too."

Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 is beginning work on the 100th episode.

Spoilers confirm that the 100th episode will see the return of Caleb from Ravenswood.

But one other character who will be returning is Jenna Cavanaugh, who was largely missing during season 4.

In addition, new character Sydney—a new member of the Rosewood High swim team—will make an appearance in the 100th episode, titled "Miss Me x 100."
