Actress Song Hye Kyo will attend the Cannes Film Festival with Director John Woo's film "The Crossing".

On May 2, film staff announced: "The press conference for "The Crossing", attended by Song Hye Kyo and other main actors, will take place at the Cannes Film Festival."

According to film staff, Director John Woo, Song Hye Kyo, and Zhang Ziyi will hold the film's press conference on May 17, following with interviews on the next day.

Song Hye Kyo's agency UAA stated: "No specific schedule has been set yet, but is still in discussion. Song Hye Kyo will attend the press conference if the date is set; we will try out best in promoting the movie."

They continued: "She will also attend the interview session; we know that many Korean press companies will be attending the Cannes."

Meanwhile, "The Crossing" is a movie set in 1930 Shanghai about a woman who matures through the society's pains.
