'Percy Jackson' Movie 3 News: 'Titans Curse' Far From Happening? Logan Lerman Thinks Producers Might Not Have Plans Of Creating Follow-Up Film

With the success of 'Percy Jackson' Part 2 aptly called 'Sea of Monsters', fans of Rick Riordan's novel cannot help but wonder if there will be a 'Percy Jackson' movie Part 3. However, fans might not be able to follow the adventures of the demigod onscreen because lead actor Logan Lerman himself believes that there might not be a film follow-up.

In an interview with MTCV news, the 22-year-old 'Stuck in Love' actor revealed his belief about the third installment: "It's not happening. It's been a great experience for me. It's opened up a lot of doors for me, but I don't think it's happening."

Nonetheless, a week the interview, he opted to clarify his statement through the Independent publication: "I've never heard anything and it's been a while since the second one was released, so I just haven't heard anything about a third film. Unless they call me I think it's unlikely."

Despite such belief, the 'Noah' star says that he is actually obliged to do three films: "If we want to make a third one I have to do it. I'm contractually obligated to three movies. I love those movies, they're a lot of fun to make."

Apart from being curious as to how Percy will defeat Kronos on-screen, fans also wonder if Poseidon's son will end up with Athena's daughter, Annabeth (Alexandra Daddario).

While there's no news yet for 'Percy Jackson' Part 3, fans of Lerman can watch 'Fury', a World War 2-inspired film which will be shown on November 14 this year. Its synopsis reads:

"The film is set during the last months of World War II in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman Tank called "Fury" and its five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany."

Lerman will be playing the role of Norman Ellison. Other stars of the film include Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Jason Isaacs, and Jon Bernthal.
