The 15th Korea-China Music Festival Showcases Friendship

The 15th Korea-China Music Festival took place on December 15th, 2013 in Beijing.

Thanks to KBS World TV, fans from all over the world can appreciate the wonderful concert of friendship. The whole concert, including the English subbed commentary and songs, was uploaded to the KBS World TV YouTube channel.

The artists from Korea that performed at the concert included Lim Chang Jung, Seo In Guk, Miss A, FTISLAND, U-Kiss, SECRET, B.A.P, Ailee, B1A4, and more.

The artists from China included Jane Zhang, Huang Qishan, Aska Yang, Phoenix Legend, and various other popular Chinese musicians. 

The concert even featured joint performances between Korean and Chinese artists. U-Kiss' leader Soohyun performed a song with popular Chinese singer-songwriter Wanting Qu.

The duo performed "Come Into My Dream" together. The audience especially loved this performance because the song was performed in both Korean and Chinese.

There were many other noteworthy performances throughout the festival.

The last of the K-Pop lineup to perform was popular girl group Miss A, which has two Chinese members, Fei and Jia. 

The group performed their most recent comeback song "Hush" in Korea as concergoers sang along, unable to contain their excitement. 

The festival ended with all of the artists from both Korea and China coming out on stage waving Korean and Chinese flags respectively for one final group performance.

The music festival, which took place in Beijing, China, was co-hosted by KBS and CCTV. This joint concert filled with artists from both South Korea and China showcased the wonderful friendship between the two countries.

"Through the exchange of music, we've been keeping our friendship," said the hosts of the festival.

The friendly relationship between China and Korea had already been gaining attention as the Chinese adaptation of Korean reality television shows increased. 

The involvement of Korean actors and singers in the Chinese entertainment industry has implied that the two countries have been communicating to exchange information and trends in pop culture as well.
