How To Deal With The Sexy Concept Now

Mnet's "M Countdown" marked the beginning of the music industry starting to resume normal broadcast this week. Singers who had been planning a comeback with a sexy concept are now looking to control the sexy level.

The comebacks went underway, but they're checking carefully again and again to make sure it's not too provocative. They're checking and rechecking to make sure that choreography and costumes aren't overly sensational.

One music rep for a singer who's making a comeback next week stated, "Although the music industry is normalizing, but right now is not the time to be noticeably provocative. The costumes and choreography we had prepared ahead of time were deemed to be too much, so we are lowering those levels as much as possible, using our discretion."

However, as much as the costumes and choreography play a big part in conveying the mood of the song, there are some issues that arise. If they adjust the levels too much, then it could take away too much from the charm on the song. The same rep shared, "We're holding meetings day after to day to find a proper level. We're showing as many experts and related persons an early version of the song, and asking their opinions."

Another rep stated that they're stepping aside when it comes to sex appeal. One rep for a female artist who will be making a comeback next week shared, "Although it's impossible for there to be absolutely no sexy sides, we will be taking measures so that the sexy image isn't the only one that is highlighted. We will be doing our best to maintain a warm tone."

NS Yoon-G, who was active with her sexy dance song "Yasisi," is working on a relaxing follow up song. She will sing "If I Love You" on "M Countdown." This song describes the pain of love through an acoustic guitar and piano melody sound.
