In this situation, another group of girl group members are earnestly embarking on acting. They are none other than SECRET's Hyosung, SISTAR's Bora, and RAINBOW's Go Woori.

Jun Hyosung previously appeared in her first attempt at acting in OCN's "Cheo Young." In June she'll be challenging herself once again in KBS 1TV's new drama "There's a Meowing Cat." The mystery comic drama will be about family conflict and reconciliation. Hyosung will be acting alongside Hyun Woo and Choi Yoon Young.

Bora has set out to try out acting in SBS' new drama "Doctor Stranger," which aired its first episode on the 5th. Although it's her initiation as an actress, she has taken on a significant role. She will be playing Lee Chang Ee, a refugee who works hard in order to bring her mother over from North Korea.

Go Woori has previously starred in "I Need a Fairy," and she will be immersing herself in acting through SBS drama "Good Day." She will be taking on the role of a photography college student Han Da In, who knows how to play study and have fun. Although it's still too early to say for sure, the general consensus is that her acting is better than expected.

One drama rep stated, "Girl group members are bringing variety to the female television characters. They're improving their acting talent, just like their musical talent, and drama reps are eager to see how they will continue to grow as actresses."
