T-ARA Jiyeon Confirmed To Make Solo Comeback On May 20

Group T-ARA member Jiyeon will be releasing a solo mini album on May 20.

Jiyeon was originally supposed to make a comeback earlier this month, but later confirmed that she would be releasing her mini album later on in May instead.

She is the first member of T-ARA to release a solo promotion.

Her agency also revealed that she will be debuting as a solo artist with a completely different image from the one fans are accustomed to.

The rep for her agency, Core Contents Media, stated on May 9 that Jiyeon will be showcasing "an eye-catching performance and alluring music that is different from T-ARA's music through her solo mini-album."

"The teaser video which will be released on the 13th will show a more mature and alluring Jiyeon than previously shown in her spoiler video. Part 1 and Part 2 of the teaser will be released simultaneously," added the rep, according to Allkpop.

On May 9, a jacket image was revealed with Jiyeon wearing all white.

Unlike her usual cute image, she appeared a bit more mature and sexy in the photo.

In order to prepare for her solo release, she has been working with top staff and producers to create a new and upgraded image.

Jiyeon released a music video spoiler for her track "Never Ever" through Core Content Media's official YouTube channel in mid April, according to 24-7kpop.

The video offers a behind the scenes look at the singer filming the music video. The spoiler has been released with English, Chinese and Japanese subtitles for her international fans.

"Never Ever" also known as "1 Minute 1 Second" was produced by producing team Duble Sidekick and has been described to be the modern version of Park Ji Yoon's "Coming of Age Ceremony."

Don't miss out on details of Jiyeon's solo debut as updates will continue to be released!
