K-Pop Destinations: Visiting G-Dragon's Resort With The Eat Your Kimchi Crew

If you always wanted to visit the resort that G-Dragon built but couldn't afford the plane fare, no problem. Simon and Martina of Eat Your Kimchi are going to let you see just what it's like in an upcoming video.

The K-Pop fans and reviewers have long wanted to visit the boutique hotel that the Big Bang singer built but they were lacking the wheels to get there. Now they have an Eat Your Kimchi car especially for such K-Pop and K-Drama destination excursions. So the first trip they took was to G-Dragon's Dolce Vita Pension and the episode will air next week.

The hotel's décor was inspired by images in BigBang and G-Dragon songs. It has rooms titled "Haru," "Heaven," "This Love" and even a "Crayon" room, which is reserved for G-Dragon and his friends only. And they have been known to stay there.

The singer put up almost a million dollars to build the hotel and then gave it to his parents to run. His dad Young Hwan Kwon runs the hotel and that's where you can also occasionally see G-Dragon's dogs Gaho and Jolie.

International fans began booking stays the day it opened but the hotel does not welcome teenaged fans. You have to be 19 to stay there. Rooms start at $250 a night double occupancy. The hotel is located at 2-25 Gisan-ri Ildong-myeon, Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province, Korea. For more information, visit www.thenemo.kr

Stay tuned for next week's Eat Your Kimchi at www.eatyourkimchi.com to see how much Simon and Martina enjoyed their stay.
