"Glee" stars Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison shared more than just a stint on Broadway as Cory Monteith's girlfriend, who plays Rachel Berry, finally admitted that she used to date Mr Schuester "back in the day." The confirmation came years after the speculation of their romantic history came to light.

EOnline  reported that Lea Michele admitted dating Matthew Morrison in her book, Brunette Ambition.

"When we shot the [Glee] pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley and Chris Colfer for the first time," the singer-actress wrote. "I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."

The "Glee" star, however, did not reveal more about the Lea Michele dating Matthew Morrison history.

In 2010, when the news first broke about their past, Lea Michele was quick to deny her involvement with her Broadway colleague.

"I've known Matt for years. He's been a friend of mine from New York. People are going to make things up. I think it's just because we really are so close," she told Hollywood.com.

The issue did not go any further as Matthew Morrison himself also denied being with the actress in the past saying to Parade: "We were literally on set and I got a call from my publicist, and she got a call a minute later and we looked at each other like, 'What the f--?' It's so laughable."

The "On My Way" singer, who's currently planning on a second book and an album, had a very public relationship with Cory Monteith.

Matthew Morrison, on the other hand, has been engaged to model Renee Puente for 11 months now, reported MailOnline. However, the couple is yet to reveal their wedding date.
