"Eternity" Doesn't Last Forever In VIXX's New Music Video

Only a few days after celebrating its second anniversary, idol group VIXX released "Eternity."

"Eternity" is VIXX's fourth single album, and the music video was released on May 26. The video features a storyline where each of the members is in love with a woman, but something is a bit off. By the end of the music video, it appears that everything was just a dream, a moment in eternity.

According to Jellyfish Entertainment, "The title track 'ETERNITY 'is a story about a miracle that finds an eternal love at a moment of a short dream."

The dance and chorus are very powerful, and balance out the sweet sounding lyrics throughout the song. "Eternity" is a bit of a change for VIXX, considering that the last song the group promoted was the violent song, "Voodoo Doll."

Along with the fantasy and dream elements throughout the music video, "Eternity" evokes an old-time feel to it, and the spinning clock gears throughout the video have a slight resembelence to steampunk. Jellyfish described the music video concept as, "strong and sophisticated visual beauty... finished by the steampunk art visual and a fancy CG."

However, since the music video and song are a bit different from what VIXX has previously released, some fans have taken to SNS and noted that they're disappointed.

Other fans have pointed out that the eerie presentation of "Eternity" suits VIXX, and it is simply a change in style for the group. In addition, each of the members partake in some activity with the dream girl, and fans have noted that VIXX's members are doing activities that they're known for liking -- Leo is playing piano, Ken is drawing, N is showing the girl a lot of affection etc.

VIXX will be performing "Eternity" comeback stage on M! Countdown on May 29.
