Emma Watson's graduation from Brown University was overshadowed by the presence of a gun-toting undercover cop. With her feat, the "Harry Potter" actress joined Hollywood's list of celebrities who also earned their degrees.

In a series of snaps from MailOnline, the close-in aid of Emma Watson even donned her own graduation robe on Sunday so she could sit right next to the actress and her mom. She could have been mistaken for just any other graduate if not for her stern and blank expression, as well as her denims and trainers showing from beneath her toga.

The website also noted that the presence of the undercover cop at Emma Watson's graduation was a "marked contrast with her stated aim of having a normal experience" at Brown University in Rhode Island.

Prior to the Emma Watson graduation, she uploaded a photo in her social media account donning the graduation cap and looking very pretty in an almost naked makeup save for the red lipstick.

The "Harry Potter" actress, who can be next seen in the biblical epic "Noah," is reportedly worth $60 million, according to celebritynetworth.com. 

Emma Watson has repeatedly claimed that she will graduate from her English literature course. It might have taken her six years to do it but Emma Watson's graduation vindicated her announcements last month that she will be there "and I will be throwing a huge party, and getting very drunk."

Meanwhile, CNN reported that Emma Watson joined a list of Hollywood celebs who earned their degrees like Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o who has a master of fine arts from the Yale School of Drama.

There's also James Franco who is already pursuing his Ph.D. in English from Yale, or Ashley Judd who has a master's degree in public administration at John F. Kennedy School of Government.

Even pornstar Ron Jeremy has a master in special education from Queens College,CNN noted.
