Maddie Ziegler's popularity after appearing in Sia's "Chandelier" video might have pushed the 11-year-old dancer to consider quitting "Dance Mom" as she admitted that the show opened doors for her.

In Australia's TODAY show, Maddie Ziegler was asked by entertainment editor Richard Wilkins about the "Dance Mom" reality TV show.

"The TV show started when I was 8 years old, and everyone was really young and we've been doing it for a few seasons now and I've gotten a hang of it," Maddie said.

"I'm used to having all of the cameras around. I've gotten so many more opportunities from this and just because of it everyone now knows me on the streets and is stopping me to ask me for a picture or an autograph," she said.

Maddie Ziegler's popularity is apparent in Sia's "Chandelier" video which already received 16.4 million hits and counting.

Vevo released the music video for Sia's single "Chandelier" on YouTube and while the lyrics and melody for the single are powerful, viewers were mesmerized by the performance of the girl in the video.

The track was released back in March but only when the music video was released on YouTube that people caught on with "Chandelier," owing to Maddie Ziegler's popularity and performance, Kristie Rohwedder wrote for the bustle.com.

The music video, where 11-year-old Maddie Ziegler in nude leotard dances and writhes around an abandoned apartment, received more than one million hits in just 24 hours, MailOnline reported. It was directed by Sia with Daniel Askill lending his skills as a photographer and short film director.

 "The dancing is remarkable but so is the sensation the girl gives of just barely being in control as her feelings begin to overwhelm her to where she is, literally, at times crawling up the walls," Melinda Newman wrote for hitflix.com. "It's haunting and eerie and compelling."

Naya Rivera of "Glee" saw the video and was blown away by Maddie Ziegler. "Ok my jaw is completely dropped at how good this @Sia "chandelier" video is," she tweeted. That girl Maddie is beyond talented. Best video ever."
