SHINee Perform First Show In Shanghai As Headliner

The five member South Korean boy band SHINee performed their first headlining concert in Shanghai, China on Sunday as part of their "SHINee World III" tour.

The K-Pop group performed the 27 songs at the show, including their hits "Lucifer," "Juliette," "Ring Dong Dong," "Sherlock" and "Dream Girl."

The performance reportedly got fans up and out of their seats, singing along and cheering.

When SHINee started performing their hit "Selene 6.23," fans were seen changing their glow sticks from pearl aqua green to white, brightening up the concert hall with white lights, according to Yahoo Celebrity Philippines.

Concert attendees held up banners that read "happy because we're together" and sang along to the Korean lyrics during the finale performance, showing the members their ongoing love and support.

Although it was raining, local fans still stood in line and waited to see their favorite idol group perform, as it was SHINee's first solo concert in Shanghai. Many fans were seen at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport on May 31 to greet the members' arrival.

The group recently released a short promotional video promoting their 10th Japanese single "Lucky Star."

In the video, the boys are seen participating in fun outdoor activities, including taking a ride on a hot air balloon and preparing for a barbeque.

The upbeat song, which is perfect for summer, will be released on June 25.

SHINee also celebrated their 6th anniversary recently. The group performed their single "Replay," more commonly known as "Noona Neomu Yeppeo," on SBS Inkiyago to mark the 6th year since their debut, according to 24-7kpop.

SHINee will be heading to Jakarta, Indonesia on June 22. The group is slated to perform at the Jakarta Mata Eland International Stadium.
