SM Entertainment has reported that two fans were injured while attending the June 2 EXO From EXOPLANET #1-The Lost Planet concert in Hong Kong.

Due to an abnormality with the set, two fans were injured during the EXO performance. There was a swift response from those on hand at the concert and the two fans were immediately sent to the hospital.

SM has attributed the injuries to stage error and accepted responsibility for the incident. In addition, SM Entertainment delivered an apology and will be responsible for the medical care of the injured fans.

Concert production for EXO from EXOPLANET was handled by Dream Maker, while the company Media Asia holds responsibility for issues that arise within the facility.

The extent of the injuries led to the hospitalization of the two audience members.

In a show of compassion towards the injured fans, D.O and Suho visited the hospital. The members went as representatives of the overall group.

While being injured is definitely not the way most K-Pop fans would like to meet their biases, the two fans were happy to have a chance to meet and to talk to the EXO members. The enthusiastic fans expressed their gratitude to D.O and Suho through their social media accounts.
