Assassins Creed Movie News: X-Men Days Of Future Past’s Michael Fassbender Says ‘He’s Happy’ With Upcoming Film; Ubisoft Started Production For AC: Unity Concept?

Assassin's Creed Movie news is reportedly set for 2015 and the video game turned into a film will be played by Michael Fassbender, who plays the young Magneto in the upcoming 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' movie.

As reported by Deadline.com Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are rewriting the movie, who apparently did the script for 'Exodus: Gods & Kings'.

The movie is slated to be out on August 2015 and is confirmed that '12 Years A Slave' movie cast Fassbender would star this movie. The movie is rumored to be directed by Justin Kurzel but no final announcements about this yet.

The X-Men star, however, said in an interview his excitement for the video game film adaptation and loves the idea and concept of the game.

"`Assassin's,' I'm so happy with," Fassbender says. "I can't say anything more, but for a video game, the concept behind it, this idea of DNA memory, it is so interesting."

Meanwhile, the upcoming game Assassin's Creed 5: Unity is slated for a double release. One for the next generation consoles of PS4 and Xbox One, which is reported to be called Unity, while a normal Assassin's Creed game will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

The upcoming game is reported to be set in the French Revolution and can be played with a four player co-op and is slated to be out in November of this year.

Ubisoft looks like they're hitting it big recently with a successful franchise in the Assassin's Creed game turning 5 with its upcoming release and an upcoming movie in the works within a year of the game release as reported.
