‘Batman V Superman’ Movie Set Leaked Photos Feature LexCorp 'Hipster' Company And A Broken Superman Statue! Did Luthor Actually Honor Superman?

"Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" is already filming in the Detroit, Michigan area. There are various set photos being leaked by enterprising residents. Some interesting details emerge.

In a previous report, Luthor's LexCorp was described as a 'hipster' company similar to Google. There are some photos on the company façade that may be able to confirm that.

The photos of LexCorp can be seen here.  It doesn't show much but the image that they want to project is that it is young, edgy and current. That would be consistent with their casting choices of Jesse Eisenberg, who is still familiar to numerous moviegoers as the fictional Facebook mogul in David Fincher's "The Social Network."

Screenrant speculates on the simplicity of the building: "It's highly possible that this LexCorp building was damaged - if not completely destroyed - during the battle between Superman and General Zod. If that's the case then this new building could be where Lex moved his central operations to in the wake of the fight, or it could be some kind of lab or factory."

The other photo shows a statue of Superman. It might be related to the earlier statue that showed a headless bust donned in mesh-like Superman costume. The statue is about 15 feet tall. Is it a homage to the Man of Steel for his selfless display to save Metropolis?

Screenrant has the skinny: "The statue of Superman is approximately 15 feet tall and is mounted on what look like steps leading up to a building, though since the statue was mounted in front of a green screen it's anyone's guess what the backdrop will be. Perhaps the two things are connected, and Lex Luthor is responsible for building the Superman statue as a gesture of friendship. Hey, it could happen."

The statue can be seen here.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice" will be released on May 6, 2016.
