TVXQ Ranks Second On Japan Oricon Chart With New Single, 'Sweat/Answer'

TVXQ's new Japanese album titled "Sweat/Answer," which was released on June 11, is already topping charts in Japan.

The mini album ranked No. 2 on the Oricon Daily Single Chart in Japan and sold 78,503 copies on the first day of its release.

Fans can get the best of both worlds with "Sweat/Answer." The album consists of "Sweat," which features a fun, dance beat, and "Answer," which is more of a mid-tempo song.

TVXQ released a longer version of their PV as well as a 60 second TV Spot in Japan to promote their release, according to the publication Allkpop.

"Sweat" and "Answer" will be released in three different versions.

The idol group first released "Sweat" at their "TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2014 TREE" last month, getting fans excited for their most recent album.

Their 7th Japanese album, "TREE," ranked No. 1 on various charts as well. The album sold 225,000 copies during its first week of release, making TVXQ the first overseas group to sell over 200,000 copies for 3 albums in a row.

The K-Pop group performed in front of approximately 220,000 fans at their "TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2014 TREE" concert, which was held in Tokyo, Japan from May 21 to May 24, according to the Korea Herald.

TVXQ had previously gone on a concert tour in April as well, visiting 10 cities in Japan, including Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya for a total of 29 performances.

While the group continues to enjoy the success of their latest album, the duo hasn't lost focus on their solo activities.

TVXQ member Yunho is currently preparing for his role in a new MBC drama that is scheduled to air next month.

The drama, titled "The Night Watchmen," tells the story of security guards in the Chosun dynasty who are trying to rid the world of ghosts.

Yunho will reportedly be playing a ghost chaser named Mu Seok.
