Big Bang Daesung Begins Japan Solo Arena Tour In Yokohama With 34,000 Fans

Taeyang isn't the only member of Big Bang whose solo career is skyrocketing.

Daesung began his solo tour in Japan and has been receiving an overwhelming, positive response from fans and Japanese media.

The singer held his Yokohama arena concert titled "D-LITE DLive 2014 in Japan~D'slove" on June 11 and 12.

"Daesung, who got fans wild with his successful Japanese solo and Big Bang activities, will make a comeback in both Korea and Japan. Through the release of his solo album and first Japanese area tour, [Daesung] will showcase his abilities as a 'solo vocalist,'" YG Entertainment had stated before the singer began his tour.

Over the course of two days, Daesung performed in front of 34,000 fans, showing his devoted supporters how much he has grown as a solo artist.

The 25-year-old singer reportedly performed a variety of different songs from dance to ballad tracks during his concert. He performed his new song "Rainy Rainy" for the first time as well.

Daesung also announced several details regarding his upcoming Japanese album "D'slove," which consists of 10 tracks including "I LOVE YOU" and all four tracks from his new Japanese single album titled "Rainy Rainy," which is set to drop on July 16, according to Allkop.

Daesung held his first solo tour last year, meeting with 100,000 fans during the course of 26 concerts.

He will continue his 15-stop Arena tour at the Kobe World Memorial Hall, Marine Messe Fukuoka, Budokan and Osaka Jo Hall. Daesung will be meeting with approximately 125,000 fans.

Daesung ranked No. 1 on Japan's iTunes chart with his single "Rainy Rainy," which was released on June 11.

All four songs from Daesung's mini album ranked in the top 4 on Japan's iTunes chart.

The Big Bang member's upcoming solo album is expected to do as well as his previous solo album titled "D'scover," which turned out to be a sensation amongst fans in Japan.
