Clint Dempsey Celebrates Ghana Goal With Wife Bethany And Family: She Donned Body Paint For Sports Illustrated World Cup

Clint Dempsey wowed everyone with his goal that kicked off the United States' match against Ghana for this World Cup. Clint Dempsey scored a goal just mere 32 seconds into the game. Without Landon Donovan's presence this World Cup, Clint Dempsey may become the leading scorer and midfield extraordinaire for the United States National men's team. True to himself, he will most likely celebrate his win with his super hot wife Bethany and his three kids, Elyse, Sophia and Jackson. After all, he has matches against Germany and Portugal to prepare for!

In all the turmoils Clint has faced as an American soccer player, his wife Bethany has been extremely supportive of his dreams and aspirations. When the two met in Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, she didn't think that her life will be completely uprooted by her future husband. They married in 2007, after one year of dating, and the day after their wedding, they hopped on a plane to England, where Clint Dempsey played for Fulham and Tottenham for years to come. By the time their first daughter turned one, she had reportedly crossed the Atlantic over 24 times!

Not only that, she even donned body paint for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue for the World Cup in 2010. The United States national soccer team's jersey was painted on her bare body. After 15 hours of painting, she posed for the Sports Illustrated spread wearing nothing but paint! Other soccer girlfriends and wives, Abbey Clancy, Sarah Brander, and Melissa Satta, stripped and wore paint to support their husbands for the 2010 World Cup issue of the Sports Illustrated magazine.

Bethany told Huffington Post, "You don't feel naked, because you look in the mirror and it looks like you are wearing a swimsuit. The detailing is amazing."

Through their support, he was able to make this famous goal against Ghana, a game that many critics thought that the United States would lose. Let's see what else Clint Dempsey will be able to do in this World Cup! Whatever he does, his wife Bethany will be here to support him.
