Super Junior's Donghae Confirms Upcoming Seventh Album

Another popular SM Entertainment group is preparing to make a comeback.

Super Junior's members have been hinting to an upcoming seventh album, but there was no real confirmation until June 17. Lee Donghae, one of Super Junior's twelve members, shared a picture on Instagram of a computer screen and what appears to be music editing software. The picture's caption read "SJ...7"

The group has previously released six full-length albums, but Super Junior's last full-length Korean album was "Sexy, Free & Single" in 2012. Since then, the group has released several Japanese albums, singles, and done individual promotions in South Korea. However, South Korean fans haven't had any real Super Junior promotions, other than concerts.

Other Super Junior members have also hinted to the group's upcoming comeback, but SM Entertainment has yet to release an official timeline of the comeback.

One of the things that many fans are waiting to hear about is whether Super Junior's leader Leeteuk will be involved in the seventh album's promotions. He is currently serving his required military duty, but is set to finish his time in the Korean army on July 29.

Super Junior is one of the idol groups that has been successful in reintegrating idols post-military service. Both Heechul and Kangin returned to Super Junior following their duty, and many fans expect Leeteuk to return to his position as leader of the group.

During his time in the military, Leeteuk's father committed suicide and killed the idol's grandparents while doing so. There has been a lot of concern from Super Junior's fans about whether or not Leeteuk will be returning to Super Junior immediately following the end of his tenure in the military.

SM Entertainment has not released any information about the upcoming album, or Leeteuk's involvement in it at this time.
