'Pretty Little Liars' cast Lucy Hale and boyfriend Joel Crouse fuelled engagement rumors when the brunette beauty uploaded an Instagram photo of her flashing a diamond ring last June 15.

In the photo, 'Pretty Little Liars' cast Lucy Hale kisses her Crouse on the cheek while wrapping her arm around his neck. Apart from the affectionate gesture, fans noticed what appeared to be an engagement ring.

'Pretty Little Liars' cast Lucy Hale and boyfriend Joel Crouse publicized their relationship in April when they went to a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game. "They are seeing each other. It isn't anything serious just yet," claimed one source to Us Weekly.

To prevent speculations, the ABC Family actress deleted the Instagram photo. Hollywood Life likewise notes that the photo has been reversed or flipped in order to make the ring appear as if it was on Hale's left hand.
Apart from being busy with her personal life, the 25-year-old star is similarly occupied with her debut album, 'Road Between.'

She admits that her album has been inspired by Taylor Swift: "Taylor's untouchable. She made country quote-unquote 'cool.' And she made it OK to talk about your problems. And be vulnerable. And talk sh** about your ex-boyfriend. That's so fun! Everyone wants to do that."

Even if she's a self-confessed fan of Swift, she says that she isn't fond of calling out her former boyfriends' mistakes through songs: "I don't really keep in touch with many of my ex-boyfriends. But there are some digs in the album for sure."

She continues to play the role of mysterious Aria in 'Pretty Little Liars.' Previously, she told Celebuzz that she auditioned for Anastasia Steele's role in 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'

"I think every girl on the red carpet wants to play [Anastasia]. That would be freaking awesome. I'm really curious to see how they're going to turn it into a film," she gushed.
