Gabrielle Union Consoles Fiancé Dwyane Wade Following Miami Heat’s Loss; Will It Affect Their Wedding?

Fans can attest that Miami Heat did their best but it was the San Antonio Spurs which emerged victoriously from the Game 5 of the National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals. As fans of Spurs continue to rejoice, Dwyane Wade's fiancée Gabrielle Union admits that Miami Heat's loss left her in a gloomy state.

"I'm still in the thick of it. I'm on the ground, there's tears," said the 41-year-old star when she appeared on Bravo TV's 'Watch What Happens Live.' While Union admitted that she wept because of Miami Heat's loss, her husband-to-be managed to stay positive.

"He's like, 'Baby you win some, you lose some, I'm disappointed, I'm hard on myself by you know, suck it up sister, really,'" she recalled.

Despite the tears, the 'Being Mary Jane' actress also makes sure to cheer up her future husband in times of defeat: "The trickery comes out. I'm like, 'Alright missed the game winner."

After four years of being together, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union will be tying the knot on August 30 in Miami, Florida as per TMZ. The NBA athlete, through the help of his sons and nephew, popped the million-dollar question right before Christmas.

The couple already sent out save-the-date invitations which featured Wade's children holding a sign which read: "Nicki, will you marry us?" Nickie is Union's nickname for her second name is Monique.

Union was previously married to footballer Chris Howard whereas Wade had a marital relationship with Siohvaugn Funches. Previously, Union said that she and Wade would have a pre-nuptial agreement, something she didn't have during her first marriage.
