James Franco and Seth Rogen Condemned by North Korea; New Comedy `The Interview’ Doesn’t Sit Well With Kim Jong-Un [VIDEO]

North Korea officially condemned Seth Rogen and James Franco over their new movie, The Interview. In the new Seth Rogan James Franco comedy, there is apparently a plot to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Did Dennis Rodman leak the plan?

The film doesn't open until Oct. 10, but maybe North Korea can ask Dennis Rodmanto Kim Jong-un a bootleg copy.

North Korea officially condemned Seth Rogen and James Franco, but  Kim Jong-un will probably watch Seth Rogen's comedy about assassinating Kim Jong-un. But he won't be amused.

North Korean officials blasted the new comedy about American TV workers who are recruited to assassinate Kim Jong-un as a symbol of the "desperation" of U.S. society.

That being said, Kim Myong-chol, executive director of the Centre for North Korea-U.S. Peace and who the media calls the "unofficial" spokesperson for North Korea's "supreme leader," said he will probably watch the movie anyway.

Kim Myong-chol told the Telegraph "There is a special irony in this storyline as it shows the desperation of the US government and American society."

"A film about the assassination of a foreign leader mirrors what the U.S. has done in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Ukraine," he added. Kim said Hollywood movies are "full of assassinations and executions."

Franco plays a nighttime talk show host on "Skylark Tonight." Rogen plays his producer and friend. They score an interview with Kim Jong-un. The CIA asks them to assassinate the Korean leader.

Kim Jong-un will be played by Korean-American actor Randall Park.

Rogen reacted to the story with a tweet on his account.
