Band FTISLAND Successfully Completes 'The Passion' Japan Arena Tour

Popular boy band FTIsland successfully wrapped their 2014 Japan arena tour.

The tour began in Tokyo on June 3 and 4 and continued on to Nagoya on June 21 and June 22. During their performance, the members of the band reportedly showed tears showing their gratitude for their fans.

This was the group's first arena tour in a year since their last one in 2013.  FTIsland performed songs from their new album "Be Free," showcasing a total of 22 performances.

FTIsland also performed their self-composed songs including "On My Way," "Last Love Song" and more.

The idol group will be attending Japan A-Nation's "ROCK NATION" festival on August 15 as well as the "Summer Sonic 2014" festival on August 16 and 17.

The five-member boy group released videos celebrating their seventh anniversary on June 7, according to Allkpop.

A group video as well as individual videos were released in celebration of the band's anniversary, showing each of the members thanking all of their fans for the beautiful memories and amazing support throughout all the years.

FTIsland debuted back in 2007 and experienced ups and down in their career, even having one of their members leave the group.

However, the group has always managed to bounce back. The K-pop group recently showcased their undeniable popularity with their fourth Japanese studio album titled "New Page" on May 29, 2014.

16,885 copies of "New Page" were sold, while FTIsland ranked at No. 3 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart, according to Allkpop.

FTIsland, short for Five Treasure Island, currently consists of members Choi Jong-hoon, Lee Hongki, Lee Jae Jin, Choi Min-hwan and Song Seung-hyun.

The boy band, which is signed under FNC Entertainment, is considered to be South Korea's first instrumental idol band. This might explain why the group made such a strong debut with their album "Cheerful Sensibility," which became the sixth best-selling album in 2007.

The debut song "Lovesick" topped the K-pop charts for eight weeks in a row, according to MTV Asia.
