The three-year singledom of 'Sherlock' star has come to an end as Benedict Cumberbatch's friend and producer Rebecca Eaton let new girlfriend rumors sweep the internet. At the same time, the 'Sherlock' season 4 release date has also been rumored to draw close! But the more pressing question is, who is this lucky woman? Turns out, Dakota Johnson takes the top of the list.

Rebecca Eaton, know for producing PBS Masterpiece, let slip last week that Benedict Cumberbatch is no longer up for grabs. The New York Post reported, "She wouldn't say whom the 'Sherlock' actor has met, but she said it's time for all those 'Cumberb*ches' - the name used by his huge base of female followers - to move on".

After ending with his 12-year relationship with his university sweetheart Olivia Poulet, Benedict Cumberbatch has been wondering the film world all by himself, from time to time trying a new relationship, but ending it shortly thereafter. The 37-year-old star has even expressed anxiety as he failed to find the one woman he wanted to settle down with.

At least Benedict Cumberbatch had a strong idea of what he wanted to find though! 'Sherlock' actor told ELLE Japan what he finds sexy in a woman in an interview.

"A woman who knows that she doesn't have to get all decked out to look good is sexy. A woman who can make you feel smart with her conversation skills is also sexy. I believe the sense of humour is important," he said. "I also think someone who is good at working with others is sexy. It's like playing a tennis doubles match. You need to be able to work well together if you are to stay as partners for a long time."

So is Dakota Johnson the one? The two Brits met early May for a lunch after the Met Gala held in New York City. Dakota Johnson and Benedict Cumberbatch has never been linked together before. Could it be that the paparazzis caught them right at the beginning of their blossoming romance?

On other news, 'Sherlock' season 4 release date is "closer" than we think it is! Radio Times reported that 'Sherlock' executive producer Mark Gatiss have "moved significantly closer to getting a date in the diary for Series 4".
