As fans eagerly anticipate Book 3 of "The Legend of Korra," the creators have taken the time to recap the events up to season 3, "Change."

"Korra decided to leave the spirit portals open," said co-creator Bryan Konietzko. "Harmonic convergence was a major event where this crazy spirit energy washes over the entire globe and pass through everything and every person."

"It remains to be seen what effects that had on people and the world."

Fans know from the new trailers that in "The Legend of Korra" Book 3, new villains will rise to threaten the peace of the world, and one character who will surface is Zuko, who has not been seen since "Avatar: The Last Airbender."

"Do you have any idea the power these criminals possess?" asked Zuko in the brand new Book 3 trailer. "Individually, they could take down any bender. Together they could take down the entire world."

And now, the long-awaited release date for "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 has finally been unleashed to the public.
According to IGN, "The Legend of Korra" Book 3, titled "Change," will premiere on Friday June 27 at 7pm on Nickelodeon. Not only will the season premiere air at 7:00pm EST, episode 2 will air at 7:30pm, followed by a "special bonus presentation" of episode 3, titled "Meet the Family."

Reportedly, the true timeslot for "The Legend of Korra" Book 3 will be on Fridays at 8:00pm EST. However, after the massive premiere, there will be a break for the Fourth of July holiday, before the series resumes on July 11.
