SM-YG-JYP Big Match Coming This July

The top 3 entertainment agencies will be battling their "big match" this July.

SM will be releasing Super Junior's new album on July 1, YG with 2NE1 to follow on June 5 and JYP with 2PM's Wooyoung on July 8. These three agencies will be battling their companies 'pride' this month.

Super Junior's 6th album, Sexy, Free and Single, which will be released on the 1st is gaining quite a bit of attention as to whether or not it will be as successful as their album from last year. For their 5th album, they sold over 500,000 copies and their music video received over 48 million views. Super Junior is also known as the "Hallyu King" and has come back with a "wonderful man" concept as seen in their teaser photos. Their new album is about successful men's life.

For YG, they will be releasing the comeback for 2NE1. Last year, every song that they put out hit the charts and made a 5 song "all-kill." It's been one year since they've come back and their expectations from fans have risen. 2NE1 has expanded their name overseas as well as held their first World Tour. These girls have ended the "innocent" concept and have become leaders of "woman power."

For JYP, 2PM's hidden treasure, Wooyoung will be making his first solo appearance. Wooyoung was the first generation trainee at JYP and won 1st place at the auditions. Through this solo album he will be able to show his fans his own style. His dancing will be one of the highlights of this album as well. His released teaser images are also gaining attention.

With Big Bang and Wonder Girls comeback last month, this month is going to be another grueling battle between SM, YG and JYP. July seems like a month to watch out for in the K-POP world.
