2NE1's Album, 'CRUSH' Takes The Number 2 Spot On Japan Oricon Daily Chart And Tops iTunes Chart

2NE1's new album "Crush" has consistently been making headlines since its release.

The popular girl group's latest album ranked No. 2 on the Oricon chart in Japan on the day of its release and also topped the Japan iTunes Pop Top Album chart.

This isn't the first time 2NE1 has topped charts internationally with their tracks. Back in 2012, the idol group ranked No. 4 on the Oricon Daily chart with their Japanese album, "Collection," according to YG Entertainment.

"Crush" has sold more than any of 2NE1's previous albums. The group added a slightly different concept for their fans in Japan with the Japanese version of "Crush," which might explain why the album has been so popular.

2NE1 will continue their "All Or Nothing" world tour at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 28. They will then move on to the Japanese leg of their world tour at Yokohama Arena on July 5 and 6 and Kobe World Memorial Hall on July 12 and 13, according to Allkpop.

"Crush" was on the list of Fuse TV's top 25 albums of 2014 as well. Fuse reportedly singled out "Come Back Home," "Baby I Miss You" and "Gotta Be You" as tracks that are worth listening to on the album.

The K-pop group's latest album, which was officially released in February, broke the record for the biggest first-week sales for a K-pop album and the highest-charting K-pop release in America, according to Billboard.

2NE1 was also featured on the May issue of NYLON magazine, where their impeccable fashion sense was showcased once again.

The four-member idol group held a surprise fan meeting recently at the YG Entertainment headquarters. The event was for the fans who were chosen through a lottery and the winners were given a chance to spend time with 2NE1 and get a tour of the recording studios and other facilities within YG Entertainment.
