Erykah Badu Tries to Steal a Kiss News Reporter And The Spotlight From Shia LaBeouf; Erykah Badu Goes `On and On’ as Merry Prankster [VIRAL VIDEO]

Erykah Badu, who sang "Kiss Me On My Neck," was roughly rebuffed by a local New York news reporter who was trying to report on the Shia LaBeouf arrest.

During coverage of Shia LeBeouf's arrest for smoking and heckling last week's performance of Cabaret, the singer photo bombed the camera, made a funny sexual gesture and tried to steal a kiss live during local coverage of the Shia LaBeouf arrest.

Erykah Badu crashed a live TV news broadcast from news anchor Mario Diaz who was trying to report on Shia LaBeouf's arrest for New York's PIX 11. Ever the good girl, Badu was wearing a huge white hat as she walked back and forth behind Diaz, made an in-out-in-out gesture and tried to kiss the broadcaster who pushed her out of the frame.

Shia LaBeouf was dragged out of a performance of Cabaret on Thursday night and was arrested for "being disruptive" and smoking inside the theater. LaBeouf was charged with criminal trespass and two counts of disorderly conduct

Erykah Badu took to twitter to apologize to news reporter Mario Diaz yesterday, tweeting "sorry Mario. :-))))."

Badu is in New York for a series of performances. On Friday night, she performed with Dave Chappelle at Radio City Music Hall, and on Saturday, she rocked the block at a party in Brooklyn's Bedford-Stuyvesant section to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Spike Lee's movie "Do the Right Thing."
