George Clooney and fiance Amal Alamuddin's wedding is just a few months away but George Clooney's girlfriend hasn't even met his family yet! Instead, Amal Alamuddin opted to hang out with Brad Pitt and Angelina Joel - albeit doing some saving-the-world work at a sexual violence summit in London.

"The human rights activist, 36, declined an invitation to her fiancee's family reunion...opting instead to remain in London, where she attended a sexual violence summit alongside George's pals Brad Pitt (who will reportedly be his best man!) and Angelina Jolie," InTouch reports, according to Classicalite.com.

"So the whole Clooney clan will have to save the introduction for his planned September wedding in Italy."

Though it's likely George Clooney's family forgave his fiance's absence due to her selfless work, George's cousin Ben Breslin was at least one of the "Monuments Men" actor's family members who was disappointed the United Nations adviser couldn't make it, InTouch reports.

"It was a shame because I would have liked to meet her... [But George] explained that she's a lawyer."Apparently she was across the sea somewhere...saving the world," Breslin said. 

According to People magazine, George has met most of Amal's family already. As we previously reported, Clooney made sure to meet the family of his betrothed before he popped the question. Clooney "visited Dubai in March to meet his Lebanese-born, Oxford-educated leading lady's family, spending time on a yacht excursion with her siblings, says a relative of Alamuddin's."

"They found George very easy to get along with, cool," the family member told the publication. "They felt at ease with him immediately."

The news of George and Amal's wedding comes just after seven months of dating for George and Amal. Amal had reportedly turned Clooney down for a first date two times before saying yes! We bet she's glad she gave in eventually.
