Even if Adam Levine baby on the way rumors are unfounded, the Maroon 5 crooner's future child will be lucky for having a father who won't mind getting unpaid in exchange of having memorable experiences.

For his role in 'Begin Again' as David Kohl, the 'Never Gonna Leave This Bed' hit maker says that he never received a paycheck as opposed to his co-stars Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo.

"I did this movie for no money. I'm very lucky that I'm in that position. I want to have good experiences. I don't want to do a bunch of s*** that I hate. I want to treat [acting] completely differently because I have the very fortunate luxury of not having to think of this in terms of money," he told USA Today. 

'Begin Again' is a romantic comedy which follows musically-inclined sweethearts Gretta (Knightley)and Dave (Levine). When Dave lands a contract with a major label, he gets blinded by his newfound fame which leaves Gretta on her own.

The 'Voice' coach must have been so in love that he opted to accept the project with no paycheck. Levine, who's about to tie the knot on July 19, also gushed about his fiancé Behati Prinsloo: "She's incredible and that alone makes me the luckiest person in the world."

Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo's wedding will be taking place at the Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos, Mexico. As per Us Weekly, the couple will then head to the Victoria's Secret model's hometown in Namibia for their honeymoon.

Prior to their wedding, Levine confessed to Ryan Seacreast that he did ask for the permission of Prinsloo's father: "I don't want to talk about it - you know how I am - but yes, of course I did. I had to. And it was extremely nerve-wracking."
